The apartment is literally two minutes ON FOOT from the historic centre and all its many excellent and affordable restaurants, shops and bars.  You can see the ancient walls from the garden.   A beautiful tranquil Olympic swimming set in pine woods is just 5 mins walk.

Stroll around the twice weekly market when the main street is lined with stalls selling everything under the sun.  There are lots of local shops for those who wish to risk their Italian and three large supermarkets for those that don’t.  Local restaurants abound in and around Sansepolcro. Italians eat out frequently and enjoy their wonderful cuisine.

Prices are good and most holidaymakers are surprised by the low costs compared with those at home. Tuscany and Umbria have a wealth of products like local fruit, porcini and truffles, wine, olive oil, lace, chocolate.  During the summer feasts, concerts and pageants take place all over Tuscany.
